Armenia reports rise in suicides

Armenia has seen an increase in suicides, with seven teens taking their lives in 2021, Report informs, citing the Armenian media.
The statistics on suicides and attempted suicides in 2019-2021, published by the country's National Security Service, show that the number of suicides has risen. The number of suicide cases made 153 in 2019, 183 in 2020, and 191 in 2021.
People aged 30 to 65 and men are responsible for most suicides.
Men accounted for 156, and women accounted for 35 out of 191 suicide cases in 2021.
Seven teens took their lives in 2021 and 5 in 2020.
The number of minors committing suicide reached 16 in 2019, 12 in 2020, and 12 in 2021.
