Armenia records 12 new coronavirus deaths

Armenia confirmed 424 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 190,741, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3,476 as 12 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 172,096 people have recovered from the disease.
There are currently 14,287 active coronavirus cases in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
