Armenia recognizes State of Palestine

Armenia recognized the independence of Palestine, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, Report informs via Sputnik-Armenia.
“Armenia is sincerely interested in the establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East, and in the establishment of lasting peace between Jews and Palestinians. On various international platforms, we have always been in favor of a peaceful and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian problem and supported the two-state principle in resolving the conflict,” reads the statement.
