In a recent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his gratitude for Putin's prompt action in ordering the Russian Railways to restore the flood-damaged sections of the railway in Armenia.
The railway in Armenia's Lori region suffered extensive damage due to severe flooding on May 25-26. The floods, caused by heavy rainfall, led to the destruction of several sections of the railway, disrupting transportation and causing significant economic losses.
