Armenia, India to co-op in customs field

Armenia and India will cooperate in the customs field, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.
The relevant international agreement has been approved by the Armenian government and will be submitted to the parliament for ratification.
The agreement “On cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of India” was signed on June 23 in Brussels.
The parties will assist each other in administrative procedures and exchange information on incoming cargo, as well as cooperate in post-clearance control of goods. It is noted that this will help to disclose cases of smuggling and promptly resolve emerging issues.
