Armenia, France ink contract for supply of CAESAR howitzers

Yerevan and Paris have signed a contract for the supply of French self-propelled guns CAESAR, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu wrote on X, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.
“We continue to strengthen our defense relations with Armenia. I had a warm and productive conversation with my colleague Suren Papikyan. The signing of a contract for the purchase of CAESAR guns is a new important milestone,” he wrote.
The Caesar self-propelled gun is a 155 mm howitzer mounted on a Renault Sherpa 10 truck chassis with an armored cab.
