Armenia, China soon to conclude agreements in transport sector

Armenia and China will soon sign an intergovernmental agreement on international road transport, Report informs via Sputnik-Armenia.

The topic was discussed at a meeting in China between the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan and the Minister of Transport of China Li Xiaopeng.

They noted that work on the agreement is already at the stage of completion.

During the talks, the parties also discussed issues of infrastructure construction in Armenia. In particular, they considered the possibility of attracting Chinese companies for the construction of roads, bridges and tunnels, drawing up reconstruction projects.

The ministers stressed the importance of launching regular air traffic between the two countries.

Minister Sanosyan is currently on a visit to China. One of the goals of the trip is participation in the sixth plenary meeting of the shareholders of the Armenian-Chinese rubber plant "Shansi-Nairit".
