Armenia: 16 die with COVID-19 over past day

As of July 22, 35 693 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Armenia. The number of infected in one day has grown by 439, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country, 24 766 people have recovered so far, while 10 032 are getting treatment.
The total death toll reached 678 as 16 other patients died with COVID-19.
Armenia reported its first coronavirus infection on March 1, in a citizen returning from neighboring Iran, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
The 29-year-old, who arrived in the former Soviet nation on Friday, went to a doctor because he was not feeling well.
