Araghchi: Israeli strikes derailed potential deal on Iran's nuclear program

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Thursday that Israeli airstrikes had disrupted a promising agreement on Tehran's nuclear program, Report informs via Reuters.
"We are determined to defend our territorial integrity and sovereignty by all means," he said at the United Nations Council in Geneva, "We were scheduled to meet with the Americans on June 15 to finalize a very promising agreement regarding our nuclear program. Israel's attack was a betrayal of diplomacy."
He further characterized Israel's strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran as "grave war crimes."
Araghchi is also expected to meet with his counterparts from the United Kingdom, France, and Germany while in Geneva.
