Almaty to host next CAREC forum

The 8th Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Think Tank Development Forum will be held on August 27-28, 2024 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Report informs.

The theme of the upcoming forum will be "The Climate Challenge: Thinking Beyond Borders for Collective Action."

The event will be held with the support of key international organizations, including the Eurasian Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

CAREC is a program created in 1997 by the Asian Development Bank to encourage economic cooperation among the countries of Central Asia and the surrounding regions of the South Caucasus and South Asia.
