Akar says Turkiye will continue to contribute to peace and stability in Caucasus

Turkiye continues its efforts to contribute to peace and stability as a country that provides security in a wide area from the Middle East to the Balkans, from Africa to the Caucasus, Turkish Minister of National Defense, General of the Army Hulusi Akar said, Report informs.

According to him, today, the Turkish Armed Forces is one of the world's elite armies:

"For independence and sovereignty, we must ensure the security of our borders with the concept of 'border is honor' in all kinds of relief and climatic conditions, fight against all terrorist organizations, including PKK/PYD/YPG, ISIS, and FETO, deal serious blows to terrorists, and resolutely protect our rights and interests in our seas and skies."

Akar also said that Turkiye would continue to support the just struggle of all friends, brothers, and allies, including Northern Cyprus, Azerbaijan, and Libya, and at the same time contribute to peace in the region and the world.
