Aftershock of magnitude 6.4 recorded in Kamchatka

An aftershock of magnitude 6.4 was recorded in Kamchatka, the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (USGS RAS) shared on the Telegram channel, Report informs via Izvestia.
It was noted that the earthquake occurred 213 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The source was recorded at a depth of almost 39 km in the Pacific Ocean.
Earlier, on August 3, 10 significant earthquakes were recorded in Kamchatka, and more than 65 earthquakes occurred in just one day. On August 4, the situation repeated itself: seven significant earthquakes occurred during the day, and more than 85 earthquakes occurred during the day.
Meanwhile, on July 30, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 8.7 occurred in the Kamchatka Territory. A tsunami threat was declared on the coast of the Avacha Bay.
