Date of population census in Russia announced

Russia will conduct a census in September this year, deputy head of Federal State Statistics Service Pavel Smelov has said, Report informs, citing TASS.

"After a long discussion and evidence, it was decided to postpone the census," Smelov said.

He did not specify the exact date of the event: "This will be a decision of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers."
