About 50 customs officers fired in Kyrgyzstan

About 50 employees of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan who had “close connections” with crime boss Kamchybek Asanbek (Kamchy Kolbaev) have been fired, the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan said, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.
An inspection was carried out, which identified those who were associated with Asanbek and the ex-deputy chairman of customs Rayimbek Matraimov.
"The State Committee for National Security will continue to identify and suppress the activities of corrupt employees in government bodies and departments. Other employees involved in the above violations are also being identified,” the committee said.
