The Ukrainian authorities have evacuated about 29,000 people from the war zone through humanitarian corridors, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko said, Report informs.

Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk, said that about 20,000 people were evacuated from Mariupol through the humanitarian corridors on March 15.

Director of the Russian National Defence Management Center, Colonel-General Mikhail Mezentsev, noted that the Russian armed forces evacuated 36,721 people from Zhytomyr, Luhansk, Donetsk and Mariupol.
