Abbas Araghchi: Ceasefire between Iran and Israel is very fragile

The ceasefire between Iran and Israel is very fragile, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

Report informs via IRNA that in response to the question, “Is it possible to return to the agreement reached through negotiations?” the minister answered affirmatively:

“Yes, but this requires serious and genuine will from the other side. A military option must be abandoned — we need to move forward and seek a solution through dialogue.”

According to him, the 12-day war proved that there is no military solution to the issue of Iran’s nuclear program.

“Only a diplomatic solution and negotiations can be effective. This will only become possible if Iran abandons its military ambitions and receives compensation for the damage caused. In that case, we will be ready to take part in negotiations,” the Iranian Foreign Minister added.
