9 Russian Il-76 planes land in Almaty

Nine Russian Il-76 planes carrying servicemen and airborne forces have landed at the Almaty airfield in Kazakhstan, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
The Russian contingent is part of the collective peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). President of the republic, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, asked for military assistance amid unrest in the country.
