Under the agreement between Azerbaijan and Russia, 548 Azerbaijani citizens were evacuated to the country amid the travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
For this purpose, a corridor was created between Russia's Yaraq-Qazmalar and Azerbaijan's Samur checkpoints, the administration of Dagestan's Mahammadkend district told TASS.
"The evacuation took place on the night of April 20," said the district administration.
