4.8-magnitude quake hits Izmir

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook the Izmir region of Turkey, on the shores of the Gulf of Kusadasi in the Aegean Sea, Report says, referring to the Kandilli Observatory of Turkey.
The tremors were also felt in the surrounding areas.
A 6.6-magnitude quake hit Izmir on October 30. As a result, 114 people died, and 137 were injured.
