Magnitude 4.7 earthquake jolts Turkey

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit the Yayladere district of the Bingol province in eastern Turkey on Monday, the country's Disaster And Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) said.

Report informs, citing Anadolu Agency, that the tremors were recorded at 03:49 am local time.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of seven kilometers.

There have been no reports of casualties or destruction.
