28 parties wish to join Georgia’s upcoming parliamentary elections

Twenty-eight political parties in Georgia have applied for registration to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, according to Georgia’s Central Election Commission, Report informs.

So far, nine of them have been registered, and the registration process for the remaining parties is ongoing.

All parties must submit at least 25,000 voter signatures by August 1. Thirteen parties can register for the elections on October 26 without submitting any additional documents.
