205 children killed, 373 injured since start of hostilities in Ukraine

A total of 205 children have been killed and 373 injured since the Russian military actions in Ukraine started on February 24, the press service of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.

Report informs, citing Ukrinform, that the figures are not final as they are being investigated within the areas of hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated areas.

Currently, most casualties were recorded in Donetsk region (118), Kyiv region (108), Kharkiv region (91), Chernihiv region (57), Kherson region (43), Mykolaiv region (40), Luhansk region (36), Zaporizhzhia region (25), the city of Kyiv (16), Sumy region (16) and Zhytomyr region (15).

A total of 1,141 educational institutions were damaged and 99 of them were completely destroyed in Russian air strikes and shelling.
