2 German defense companies to supply Ukraine with Leopard tanks

The German government will today issue permission to the defense concern Rheinmetall and Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG) to supply Ukraine with 187 Leopard-1 tanks, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

Rheinmetall will transfer 88 tanks, and another 99 will come from FFG.

Ukraine can receive the first tanks no earlier than mid-2023.
