15 dead in bus accident in northern Chile

15 people have died in Chile after a bus overturned and slid down a ravine, Report informs, citing TASS. The accident happened close to the commune of Taltal in the country's north.

The bus departed on Sunday night from the city Antofagasta and was headed south to the capital Santiago de Chile, some 1,400 kilometers away, with about 50 passengers on board.

Regional police said emergency services were at the scene following the accident.
