Zelenskyy thanks UK for aid package

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, had a telephone conversation, Report informs, citing the president’s telegram channel.

"The Prime Minister informed me about the allocation of a defense support package in the amount of half a billion pounds. Storm Shadow and other kinds of missiles, hundreds of armored vehicles and watercraft, ammunition—all this is really necessary for Ukraine on the battlefield,” Zelenskyy noted.

Zelenskyy thanked Sunak for this: "I am grateful to the UK and personally to the Prime Minister for such strong support, as well as for their willingness to further develop cooperation in defense, especially focusing on maritime and long-range capabilities. We also discussed the need to create an effective model for the confiscation of Russian assets and shared expectations for the Peace Summit in Switzerland and the European Union Summit in the UK."
