Zelenska: War in Ukraine may expand, becoming larger threat

The war in Ukraine may expand and, as a larger threat, create more crises, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska said at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Report informs.

She spoke about the challenges faced by the population of Ukraine in connection with the war.

“I want Russia’s aggression to stop. We don’t want to see children around the world learning how to protect themselves from radiation,” she said, referring to the issue of nuclear safety.

“When we talk about energy security, we don’t want to see children do their homework by candlelight, as happens in Ukraine. I don’t want to see a situation where a doctor performs an operation by the light of a flashlight, as happened recently in Kyiv,” Zelenska noted.

The first lady also added that “there is not a single place in Ukraine that can be called safe.”
