The world economy is facing the threat of a recession, Chinese President Xi Jinping said at the G20 summit, Report informs referring to foreign media.
“We must promote more resilient global development. Economic globalization is facing headwinds, the global economy is facing the threat of a recession. It’s not easy for everyone, and developing countries are the first to be hit,” he said.
The politician noted that in order to combat the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and restore the economy, it is necessary to deepen international cooperation.
On November 15, Indonesian President Joko Widodo opened the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Bali.
