World's second oldest woman dies aged 116

The oldest resident of Poland and the second oldest woman in the world, Tekla Juniewicz, has died at the age of 116, Report informs, citing foreign media.
Juniewicz lived in Silesia in southern Poland since the end of World War II. Juniewicz was born in Krupsk, near Lviv in today’s Ukraine, on June 10, 1906.
In 1980, Juniewicz became a widow. Until the age of 103, she lived on her own, coping with all household chores. Then her granddaughters took care of her.
Relatives remember the woman as always active, in a good mood, loving to joke, reading and playing cards.
