Vienna once again took first place in the ranking of the best cities in the world to live. Report informs citing the RIA Novosti that the ranking was compiled by the international consulting company Mercer.

231 cities were included in this year’s rating list. Vienna, the capital of Austria ranked first in 2019. Zurich and Vancouver ranked second and third respectively. Munich, Auckland, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Geneva and Basel are also included top ten of most favorable cities to live.

Istanbul is in the 130th place, while Moscow ranks 167th and Baku 195th.

While compiling the ranking Mercer takes into account accommodation, economic, political and social conditions, the quality of transport, food, household goods and entertainment, climate, level of education and medicine.
