White House says Biden will attend UN assembly next week

The White House confirmed the intention of US President Joe Biden to take part in the general political discussion at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York next week, as well as to hold meetings with some leaders of other states on its sidelines, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, Report informs via TASS.
Joe Biden will be in New York on September 19-20.
"In addition to addressing the General Assembly on September 19, President Biden will also meet with world leaders to discuss cooperation to address threats to international peace and security, promote global prosperity, and protect human rights," Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
