President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the nation on the occasion of February 16 - Unity Day, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
Addressing the public in live form, the head of state spoke about the importance of this day:
"Today is an important day - the Day of Unity of all of us. We differ in age, gender, where we come from, and our profession. But we are united by a dream: the desire to live in peace and happiness. We have every right to do so since we are in our own home, in Ukraine. No one will love our home as much as we do. Only we can protect our home together. Happy Unity Day, Ukraine!"
