Vietnam plans to acquire or take over the management of an airport in Kazakhstan, said Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, Report informs, citing Kazakh press.
"The well-known Vietnamese company SOVICO Group bought the airline Kazakh Air from us and will now develop here. Some time ago, representatives of the company came here, I met with them. The company is also considering buying or taking over management of an airport. Because in any case, the airline must have a base airport," the minister said.
