The second video conference with the leaders of the G20 countries, scheduled for April 24, was canceled due to differences between China and the United States. Report says, Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post writes citing a source who took part in preparation for this event.

As publication said, the United States insisted that WHO should report on its early actions the outbreak of COVID-19, which began in China and resulted in a pandemic. However, Beijing categorically refused to discuss Washington's proposal to investigate the organization's activities.

Thus, the parties postponed at the last moment, " the source claims. The source did not rule out that such a summit will still take place soon if the parties come to a compromise and agree on the issue regarding WHO in the final communique.

The first G20 leaders ' summit in the video conference format was held on March 26. Its participants agreed to allocate 5 trillion US dollars to stabilize the world economy in the face of a pandemic.
