Vice president: Türkiye to join Syria's reconstruction process

Ankara will be involved in the process of restoring Syria, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said, Report informs via the Aksam newspaper.
"In the new period, Syria will be rebuilt, such areas as infrastructure, tourism, trade will be restored. We will contribute to this process. In the new stage, we will be next to our neighbor Syria," he noted.
Yilmaz also called on the Western world to lift the sanctions previously imposed against the Bashar al-Assad regime: "Now we see a new Syria, a new environment. Therefore, I wish for the sanctions to be lifted as soon as possible."
According to the vice president, the lifting of restrictions on Syria will contribute to the restoration of this country.
