Venezuela rejects accusations of breaching Colombian border

The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected accusations by the Colombian authorities of violating the latter's state border, Report informs via TASS.

"The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela definitely rejects the statement published by the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which refers to the alleged violation of the country's air and land space by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in Norte de Santander, west of the international border (of Venezuela), a claim that, after appropriate checks, we strongly deny," says in the statement.

Earlier, the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the violation of the state border by the military personnel of the Venezuelan army, who arrived by helicopter and landed on the territory of Colombia’s Norte de Santander Department.
