Value of Germany-approved arms exports reaches almost €5B in Q12024

The German government has approved €4.89 billion worth of arms exports from January 1 to March 27, 2024, with Ukraine receiving the lion’s share—approximately 72% of the total, Report informs via TASS.
Ukraine has received arms exports totaling €3.54 billion. Following Ukraine, the countries with the highest confirmed deliveries are Singapore at €583.9 million, India at €143.3 million, Saudi Arabia at €126.4 million, and Qatar at €97 million.
The current statistics at this stage are almost double that of last year, after which Germany approved a record €11.7 billion worth of arms shipments. At that time, the Federal Republic was only able to reach €5 billion at the end of six months.
