USAID mainly aimed to influence elections

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been very actively involved in influencing elections, said Elon Musk, the head of the US Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), Report informs.
Musk highlighted that USAID used "dubious means" to influence elections.
He stated that much of USAID's work was aimed at influencing elections through dubious methods.
The official added that in terms of return on investment, it had not generally been very good. He described the agency as incompetent and very corrupt.
Musk did not provide details or specify the countries he was referring to in his discussion.
