US Treasury sanctions 2 cousins of Bashar al-Assad

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on six individuals, including two cousins of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and two Lebanese companies, Report informs referring to TASS.
According to the statement of the department, the persons affected by the restrictions are allegedly related to the drug trade.
In addition, businessman Khalid Kaddour, who is closely associated with the brother of the head of state, Maher Assad, was under sanctions.
