The United States hails the signing of an agreement to unblock Ukrainian grain exports and, together with other countries, will monitor Russia's implementation of these agreements, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said, Report informs via UNIAN.
The ambassador stressed that the agreement is "the safest, best and fastest way to export grain."
"We also appreciate the tremendous and long-term efforts of the UN and Turkey to prepare this agreement. After all, it was Russia that weaponized food in the midst of a global food security crisis. And we believe that we and other countries should force Russia to comply with this agreement," the US envoy added.
