US says Kazakhstan should explain why it requested CSTO's help

The United States has some questions to Kazakhstan regarding its decision to request the CSTO's assistance in stabilizing the situation in the country, US Secretary-General Antony Blinken said on Sunday, Report informs, citing TASS.

"US has real questions about why it was necessary to call in this organization," Blinken said, adding that the United States needs explanations in this regard. Speaking to CNN, Blinken noted, however, that what is more important now is that everything must be resolved peacefully and by respecting the rights of those who want their voices to be heard.
