US forces in Middle East attacked 28 times since October 17

The Pentagon confirmed on Thursday the 28th attack on US forces in Iraq and Syria since October 17, Report informs, citing the US Department of State.

Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said that since October 26th, there have been eight attacks: “Three in Iraq, five in Syria. The last one was on October 31st, and that was one attack in Syria. We will continue to do whatever we need to do to protect our troops. I'm not going to get into telegraphing how and when and if we may respond, we would do so at a time and place of our choosing.”
