US evacuates 9,000 people from Afghanistan

US has evacuated 9,000 people from Afghanistan since August 15, the White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield told CNN, Report informs.
“We have already evacuated 9,000 people. We do our best to get people out as soon as possible,” the director said.
