The White House will not move forward with plans to cut billions of dollars in foreign aid, U.S. officials said on Thursday.
Report informs citing Politico that the congress was negative on the proposal. The members of both parties viewed the bid as an attempt to sidestep lawmakers’ authority over government spending.
Trump repeatedly offered to cut billions of dollars in aid extended by the United States to other countries, but saw no support in the Congress.
