US delegation arrives in Kyiv

The US delegation has arrived in Ukraine, US Ambassador to Kyiv Bridget Brink wrote on her Twitter page, Report informs referring to TASS.

“A warm welcome back to Kyiv to US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) CEO Scott Nathan, USAID Europe Assistant Administrator Erin McKee, and State Department Assistance Coordinator for Europe Maria Longi for the signing with Zelenskyy of a $25 million DFC investment with Horizon Capital to support fast-growing small and medium-sized businesses,” she tweeted.

“We are committed to moving with the urgency the moment demands to help Ukraine’s economy not just survive, but thrive. As we support Ukraine’s defense, we’re also investing Ukraine’s future.”

On April 28, the Ukrainian authorities announced that the US Agency for International Development, through the World Bank, allocated $1.25 billion to Ukraine for needs in healthcare, education and rescue services.
