US Congress agrees to sell 96 Apache helicopters to Poland

The US Congress gave its consent to the sale of 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters to Poland, Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on X (formerly Twitter), Report informs referring to foreign media.
“We have the consent of the US Congress to sell 96 Apache helicopters to Poland along with radars and weapons! Now we are starting price negotiations. Until the procedures are completed and the purchased helicopters are delivered to Poland, the US army will provide us with Apache helicopters from its reserve,” he noted.
The Pentagon believes that the supply of these helicopters to Poland will not fundamentally upset the military balance in the European region.
