The US Central Command announced on Friday that a missile attack targeted forces affiliated with the International Coalition in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate in Syria, Report informs, citing a local news portal.
“The attack resulted in no injuries or damage to the base of coalition property. US forces in northeast Syria are investigating the incident,” the US Central Command wrote on Twitter.
The media reported that intense international coalition warplanes flew over the skies of Deir ez-Zor after missiles of unknown origin fell on the base of the Al-Omar oil field.
