UN warns of catastrophic food shortage for millions in Gaza

Approximately 2.15 million civilians in Gaza are facing acute food shortages, according to Report, which cites the latest assessments of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
An alarming 96% of Gaza's population is grappling with food insecurity. Even more concerning is the revelation that nearly 495,000 people are experiencing "catastrophic" levels of food shortage, while an additional 745,000 individuals are facing emergency levels of food scarcity.
