UN special envoy discusses Syria's security and stability in Damascus

Syrian Transitional Government Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met with UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen in Damascus, Report informs via SANA.
“The parties stressed the importance of preserving the country’s security and stability,” according to SANA.
The meeting discussed the justice system in Syria during the transitional period, as well as expanding cooperation between the Syrian government and the UN on various issues.
Pedersen has visited Damascus several times since the change of power in Syria.
