UN Security Council to hold emergency meeting on Ukraine

Baku. 26 November. REPORT.AZ/ The UN Security Council convenes an extremely important meeting on Ukraine, Report informs citing the Twitter post of the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley.

“An emergency Security Council meeting has been called for tomorrow at 11:00am” (20:00 Baku time).

On November 25 morning Russia blocked passage through the Kerch Strait between Crimea and mainland Russia for  three Ukrainian vessels.

Russian warships have fired on Ukrainian Navy boats in the Black Sea.

At least six crew members have been injured in the clash as tensions in the Crimea dramatically escalate - and the Ukrainian Navy claim Russia has captured three ships. At the same time, the Foreign Ministry of Russia called the incident Kiev's provocation.
