UN: Over 1.2 million people flee Ukraine as result of war

As a result of the Russian war, more than 1.209 million people have fled Ukraine, Report informs, citing the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
649,000 people crossed the border into Poland, 144,000 into Hungary, 103,000 into Moldova, 90,000 into Slovakia, 57,000 into Romania, 53,000 into Russia, 384 into Belarus, and more than 110,000 into other European countries.
The war between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24.
